นายธีรศักดิ์ จีรอัศวพงศ์ (คนที่ 4 จากซ้าย) กรรมการผู้จัดการ JTS ร่วมกับ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ประสิทธิ์ ประพิณมงคลการ (คนที่ 3 จากซ้าย) กรรมการกิจการโทรคมนาคมแห่งชาติ (กทช.) เปิดตัวบริการโทรศัพท์สาธารณะชนบท ณ บ้านโนนเจริญ อ.เขาวง จ.กาฬสินธุ์ เมื่อวันที่ 11 กันยายน 2552 ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในโครงการนำร่องด้านการจัดให้มีบริการโทรคมนาคมโดยทั่วถึง (Universal Service Obligation) ที่พร้อมรองรับการให้บริการระบบอินเตอร์เน็ตพื้นฐาน

JTS executives and employees altogether help global warming relief by plant 500 trees for the coastal mangrove forest, at Tambon Khlong Khon, Samut Songkhram Province.

On 27th March 2009, JTS support and contribute to the preservation program for mangrove forest at Tambon Klong Khon, Samut Songkhram Province. The preserved area is the deltaic coast which was deposit by the sediment from the sea. The government reserves this area and prohibits private ownerships for approximately 50 Rai, in order to support Her Majesty Regent Queen Sirikiti’s initiative to preserve the coastal mangrove forests for the coastal lives breeding and environment preservation.

           JTS participates in Mae Fah Luang University Pilot Project of Tele-Center of Distance Education for Rural Education and Development, to commemorate the 80th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the King in 2007. This pilot project includes provision of high speed Internet access network to 21 schools in Chiang Rai province, with education center at Mae Fah Luang University.

          On 7 July 2008, Associate Professor Dr. Vanchai Sirichana, President of Mae Fah Luang University, together with Mr.Terasak Jerauswapong, president of Jasmine Telecom Systems Public Co., Ltd. (JTS), have a press conference for the Pilot Tele-Center for Rural Area Education and Development project at Chiang Saen Convention Hall, in Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai. The Consortium of Jasmine Telecom Systems, TT&T Subscriber Services and Triple T Broadband is responsible in network design, provide equipment and implement the high speed broadband system, deploying WIMAX technology and ADSL Subscriber lines, and also provide maintenance services for this Mae Fah Luang University project.
